JD picnic

In honor of our 5th wedding anniversary, JD had it's picnic yesterday. Well, at least that's what I like to think. Anyway, the picnic is hosted at Southside Park, which is a pretty nice park. They have a water park in addition to a regular jungle-gym-type park. JD also rents a moon-walk bounce thing and a little petting zoo that offers pony & horse rides. Obviously, last year, Lauren was too small to participate in the festivities, but this year, she had a blast.

Lauren absolutely loved riding the pony and ran right over to it.

Lauren had fun jumping. It took her a while to learn that to "jump" meant to take both of her feet off of the ground at once. Once she got the hang of it, though, there was no stopping her.
