I need help

Ok. I know I'm not the first person to have a child who can't have dairy. For those of you who are lactose intolerant or have kids who are, I need some ideas. I have ideas for breakfast and lunch, but I'm pretty clueless for dinner. I use cheese and milk in almost everything. I'm sure that once I go grocery shopping, I can get some ideas, but until then, my mind just can't think of anything. I can never think of things while I'm in the middle of a situation, but I always think of things after the situation is over. However, that doesn't really help me right now. Does anyone have any suggestions for a dairy-free dinner? Also, do you have any general advice (ie- things that don't mix well with soy cheese & milk, or, things that do mix well, or anything)? I made a container of macaroni mixed with soy cheese slices to make mac & cheese, but I'm starting to run out of it. As much as Lauren loves her mac & cheese, I think she's kinda wanting something else.

Well, here is a link to some recipes, but I don't know how kid friendly they are. http://www.mealsforyou.com/cgi-bin/recipeCategory?category.114

My nephew is allergic to wheat & milk so I will ask my sister-in-law if she has some recipes that I can pass along. I can't imagine not being able to use milk--Noah drinks way more than the ped. wants him to.
