Well, I'm not really sure why, but I took Lauren to make her very first purchase all by herself yesterday. And what was this great purchase, you may ask? Two minnows. Lauren took a quarter from her bank and we went to the pet store. They were all out of the 12 cent goldfish, but their minnows were 12 cents, too, so she got two of them. It now adds a little color to the fish. This brings our fish total up to 5 (one fat goldfish, two platties, and now two minnows). When the guy handed her the fish, she proudly carried them to the cashier and then gave her the quarter. Lauren was so proud that she did it all by herself.
