Here are some pictures from the last week. The first one needs a little explaining. Ever since we moved into our house, our neighbors next door have had some sort of vehicle parked in their driveway. And I mean the vehicle was parked. For over a year and a half, there was a carnival cotton candy/caramel apple stand truck that never budged. People would come over and ask us what was going on with it. I had no idea, but I was always craving sugar. Then, the day after the truck moved, they parked their Jeep in the drive. The battery was dead, it was missing a tire, and it didn't have a license plate. Eventually, it became a storage shed for them. It was pretty full of boxes, laundry baskets of clothes, and toys. The truck then sat there for the past year and a half. It is now all rusty and nasty. Anyway, it's the small things in life that are exciting. We no longer look like we live next to hillbillies.
The next ones were just before bedtime and Scott was giving them rides.
Then, yesterday, JD had a kickball game. Scott's team won. However, as the game was ending a guy someone twisted his knee. His thigh was pointing in one direction and his shin was pointing in another. This is what happens when old people play a young-people's game. ;) To top everything off, I had a rough afternoon yesterday. Situations ended us up at the mall. After things were going to get fixed and life was somewhat better, we let the kids play in the play place.
