Sydney Burke's (Lauren's good friend) birthday party was back in April. Lauren was taking swim lessons, so I was going to bring her after lessons and Scott was going to pick up Ryan from the Y and take him earlier. Scott took these pictures on his way to the party. It has me a little nervous that he took a picture of himself while driving. My only consolation is that in the reflection of his sunglasses, you can see other cars' brake lights. My hope is that they are at a red light and not about to cause an accident. :) (By the way, enjoy Ryan's longer hair here. A couple weeks later, I buzzed it all off in the tradition of the "summer buzz." My kids sweat so much that I figure it's better to have a shaved head in the summer. Besides, the sand from the sandbox comes out so much easier that way-except for when it gets stuck in his cowlick, then it seems to pile up so high that it defies gravity.
