I'm a big kid now

Well, I just realized today that the reason why Lauren was a little, shall we say, not herself is that she broke in her next tooth. That makes 7 total (4 on top & now 3 on the bottom). However, she's pretty good about popping 2 teeth in at a time, so we should be expecting the opposite tooth to appear in about a week or so. We'll see.

Anyway, in the meantime, this weekend, Lauren started taking her naps in her new "big girl" bed. (Pictures will come eventually.) She sleeps ok in the bed, but when she wakes up, she freaks out because she thinks she's all by herself. Eventually, we'll get to where she'll sleep at night in her bed. Another transition made this weekend was going from a "sippy cup" to a "straw cup." Since the straw cups don't come in the 6-packs that her sippy cups came in, she only has 2 and they were both in the dishwasher when the pictures were taken, so she is drinking from a regular straw.
