Well, I figure that since it's been over a week since the kids had their checkups, that it's probably time to post their stats. Ryan, at 18 months, is 31 1/4" tall and 21lbs 4oz. Interestingly enough, that's only 3/4" shorter and 12 oz lighter than Lauren at 18 months. And here I thought Ryan looked huge compared to what I remember Lauren looking like then. Lauren came in at 38" and 32 lbs. Now, I'm kinda skeptical about her weight because after she got weighed, she went to the bathroom, a LOT. I think she probably lost a little weight after our potty break. (Which, on a side note, is going VERY well. She hasn't had wet underpants in several weeks. She even holds it during nap time. However, "stinky" is still hit or miss. If she's tired or in a cranky mood, she'll just go in her underpants. All in all, though, it's going well.)
Ryan's working on his I-teeth, and then we'll be done teething. Yippee skippee!!!!! However, in the meantime, he's been uber cranky. But, he keeps talking more and more. We were watching Little Einsteins and when they asked one of their obvious questions, I heard this little voice pipe in with a "noo". Unfortunately, the correct answer was "yes", but hey, he's learning. Lauren's still stuttering like crazy. Hopefully she'll out grow it soon.
I didn't have any pictures of the kids to post, but I did find this one. Apparently, Lauren ran out of room in her sticker book, so my arm looked like a good place for stickers. Let me tell you, even these cutesie stickers hurt worse than band-aids when a 3 year-old rips them off your arm.

That's a lot of stickers. I guess if you were trying to rip off your arm hair, it would be a cheap way to do it!! :)
