So, when we bought our house, we loved the fact that it was at the end of a cul-de-sac. Well, apparently, the people diagonal from us thought the same thing. I don't know if they carpool to work or what, but this Saturn is in front of our house almost every day. Usually, the guy is pretty good about keeping it within 2 feet of the curb. However, lately, it seems that he's just trying to get it somewhere in the circle. This morning was about the worst I had seen it. You can't really tell from the picture, but the car is a good 5 feet from the curb. I'm not exaggerating. I could easily lay on the ground between the car and our curb. However, I didn't want to be too obvious and go outside and actually stand out there to take the picture, so this one from our front door will have to suffice for now. Interestingly enough, the car doesn't even belong to the house in the background. It belongs to the house to the left of them. I guess people don't really feel the need to park in front of the house they're visiting or whatever. Sheesh. Anyway, I thought I'd use this as an opportunity to remind everyone to be courteous to other drivers and homeowners when parking in front of some one else's house.

We understand, as we have inconsiderate neighbors, too. Luckily, we are moving within a month or two, so hopefully will have better neighbors in our nicer neighborhood. I think you should put a basketball goal out there- I bet they would move their car quickly... but then that would draw in all the cursing, baggy-pants-wearing riff raff. Can't win, I guess!
I love keeping up with you guys- your kids are darling!
