Lauren finally got to play t-ball this week. She was so excited. There were a couple other girls there, but they were all in the 4 year-old bracket. So, she pretty much got all the attention of her coaches for being the only 3 year-old girl, plus she had a pink glove and ball. There were probably 30 kids there. Then, they broke it down into age groups. Then, they divided the ages in half. It worked out that there was a coach for every 3 people. Lauren's throwing/catching coach actually goes to our church and has Ryan in nursery. So, it was nice to see a familiar face there.
When we first got there, the kids could choose the color shirt they wanted: Purple, green, orange, and blue. The first three have all been claimed as Lauren's "favorite color in the whole wide world." I figured she'd go for one of those. Nope. She chose blue, which is quite alright with me. It's just humorous. This girl has all pink stuff and now a blue shirt. What a kid. Anyway, she seemed to have a lot of fun.
OH! I almost forgot.... Before we left for t-ball, I told Lauren that we needed to change her clothes. Her response was, "Oh. Right. Because if I slide in the dirt, I don't want to get these clothes all filthy, just my t-ball clothes." Yep. She's watched Daddy play a lot.
Anyway, here are pictures. P.S. If you see a lady in a red long-sleeved shirt with a Red Wing logo on it, she's from Sterling Heights. It's a small world.
