Playhouse Disney Live

On Saturday, we went to Disney's Playhouse Disney Live On Tour event in Spartanburg. We got the tickets for Ryan's birthday. That morning, after completeing the birdhouse kids project at Home Depot, we told the kids we were going to a surprise. They had no idea of where we were going. Once we got inside the building, and they saw all the trinkets and junk that they sell there, they got excited to see some Disney toys. However, once we actually got inside the auditorium and Mickey Mouse came out, they both started yelling and jumping up and down. We had pretty good seats for the kids. Since both of them are terrified of people/characters whose faces are covered, I didn't know how they'd handle sitting up close. We got balcony seats, so we were far enough away so they wouldn't be scared, yet close enough that we could see.

I had so many pictures that I had to do 2 books. The first book is just of the kids faces and the second is just of the event.

Christmas 08 Pictures

Finally, here they are. I'm sure you've been missing them. Anyway, here are the pics that we got taken for Christmas. The mark on Lauren's left jaw is where she burned herself with my curling iron while I was upstairs getting her hair clip about 30 min before our app't. Great fun! I put a little powder on it, but it's still kinda bright.

UM/OSU football game

Here are random pictures of the festivities of the football game.

The yearly picture

Due to the miserable season that MI had in football this year, I leave the trash-talking to other people. Anyway, here is our traditional post-game family picture.

family fun

Here are pictures from Scott's dad's 60th birthday party. The kids were so excited to ride the horse. Well, Ryan was excited until he actually sat on it. Then, he started crying and screaming. Lauren, however, loved it.

Fressels- June 2008

Behind the scenes- trying to figure out where everyone needed to go. I think I switched spots like 3 times.

The final cheeses- my dad's sporting his Father's Day gift- the official Red Wings Championship hat & t-shirt. I also like how Breanna manages the "perfect" picture pose in the right picture.

Hanging with friends

After our class reunion last Saturday, we went over to hang out at the McFadden's house.

Bob Evan's

One thing I miss down here is Bob Evan's. I miss their great blueberry pancakes. Anyway, when we go up to Michigan, we try to meet up with my mom's family that lives on the other side of the state. We meet up at the Bob Evan's in Jackson. Anyway, here's our annual picture.

L to R-Uncle John, Brady, Aunt Marysia, Aunt Sharon (you can only see the top of her hair- she's behind Marysia), Luke, my mom, my dad (hiding behind my mom), Marica, Danielle, Lauren, Tracy, me, Uncle Don, Ryan, Scott. (Janice is missing because she was busy outside.)

Frankie's Fun Park

Saturday was a gorgeous day. After batting practice (see previous post), we went to Frankie's Fun Park. The kids had fun watching go-carts race, then playing putt-putt, and then as a surprise, Scott took Lauren for a ride on the road coarse.

Wow, Yao's huge!

So, I'm finally getting to post pictures from when we were up in Michigan. We had the opportunity to go to a Pistons game. The Houston Rockets were in town. We went with Josh and Amy. Our seats were right behind the floor seats. It was great to watch the game that close. I would highly recommend it. Yao Ming is so much bigger than he looks on tv. He's huge! I had no idea he's younger than me. REALLY?! I guess his height makes him look older. Oh well. Anyway, we had a great time and here are some pictures. I tried to get a little of everything, except the Automotion girls. Amy & I decided that if this whole "Mom" thing didn't work out, we could be the Piston dance girls. :) Sorry about some of the poor quality pictures. It took me a while to figure out what setting I needed to take the pictures on. Also, I don't think I managed to get a picture of Tracy McGrady. Oh well. (Don't forget to click on the picture to enlarge it.) Thanks again to Jason & Liz.

Ryan enjoying a pre-game snack of oranges while we were waiting for Josh & Amy to pick us up.

Enjoying a good game

A little pre-quarter huddle

Yao posting up. How do you block that?

I love the height difference

Random game shots

Number4 on the Rockets has a mullet. Simply fascinating. People who look back at pictures of the 80s and think, "Hmm. I like that hair style. I think I'll attempt to bring it back."

I forgot what they're called. But they're the people that jump on trampolines and then dunk the ball.

Mutumbo after his technical. I actually saw him play in Atlanta 10 years ago.

Nothing like being there live and watching the game through a tv

I wonder how many blondes drowned in this wave
