We had Lauren's first birthday party the day after her actual birthday. Her friend Emma, as well as Emma's parents, came over to help celebrate her birthday. Dinner was the Fressel tradition of SloppyJoes and chips. However, the kids had mac & cheese, a hot dog and some green beans. Lauren's cake was a simple chocolate cake with M&Ms all over. If you can't see it, the candy spells out "Happy 1 Birthday Lauren". (I was going to put a "st" after the "1" candle, but I ran out of room. So, instead of saying "1st Birthday" it just says "1 Birthday". She liked her new toys and had a great time playing with Emma.
