At what age is it too young to learn football? In our household, we believe that one is never too young to learn sports. Whatever! Anyway, Scott has this mini football that is just the perfect size for Lauren. She liked hanging on to it and chewing on it, so Scott started tossing it to her. From there, he "taught" her how to "kick" the ball. She thought that was an absolute riot. After that, it was all down hill. He patiently shows her how to carry the ball with two hands or else he will strip the ball away from her. He also tackles her and calls fumbles. When Scott was at work, Lauren got her football and brought it over to me, but apparently, I'm not as good at playing football with her as Daddy is. After I failed at making the ball go far when she kicked it, she no longer brings that ball to me. No hurt feelings here. Anyway, included in this post is a little video of an example of their routines. (Make sure your volume is turned up!) (Just an FYI, the cat's named is actually Ally, not Allie as is listed in the credits.)

Too cute! I love it! Matt will be trying to do that with Aubrey before long...he already has her watching football with him.
