Sickness all around

Well, Tuesday night, as we put the kids to bed, all was well. I should have known, though, that something was up because Ryan slept all through the night without waking up at all. At 6:45, Lauren woke up crying and then we heard that dreaded sound. She threw up all over her bed. She threw up like crazy all morning. However, by the early afternoon, she stopped. Ryan, however is a different story. He has only thrown up several times yesterday and today. (To give you perspective of what "several" means: Lauren was throwing up every 15 minutes vs. Ryan throwing up every 3-4 hours.) They both are very lethargic, and fall asleep like narcoleptics. Scott was gracious and came home from work yesterday afternoon to help with the "spitup bucket" (that's what Lauren calls it) patrol.

Lauren has been sitting on/sleeping in her Pooh couchbed all day yesterday and today. However, she did get out of it to watch her VeggieTales, in front of which she quickly fell asleep.

I was dusting yesterday, and Lauren was "helping" me. Apparently she was done when she put down the cloth, laid down where she was, and fell asleep.

Just chillin', eating her Pedialyte popsicles. (A little promo for them: Absolutely nothing would stay down on her stomach, liquid or solid (including the Pedialyte drinks), except the Pedialyte popsicles.)

Ryan also enjoyed the popsicles. He sat exactly like this, without moving a single muscle for about 5 minutes. Even when he did move, he didn't move out of arms reach of the popsicle. I couldn't get a picture of him sleeping, though, because his bedroom is too dark.

You poor thing! Susan, I feel so bad for you (and the kids), but you must be exhausted. I hope that everyone is better soon, it is no fun having sick kids!

You have to come to "our"
park. :-) It's Herdklotz park off of Rutherford Rd. It's wonderful!!! Your kids would love it!

Yeah, it is where the kid was left! :-) It's a really nice park, not quite as convenient to you as Century. :-) Maybe we can meet there sometime. I'll call Kristin too and Lauren and Ashlynn could play together! (and Ryan and Owen too, as much as they can play together :-) I'm loving this weather, too bad Owen is teething like a maniac and has a cold! Oh well, the life of a mom....I wouldn't trade it for anything! :-)
